A day out in Chennai

Went to this mall called City Centre for lunch and some shopping. This is the food court!

I had fusilli aglio olio from the stall called little Italy. You can see it in the picture above! Extreme right.

Not bad! I finished everything :)))

Other people in the food court. My dear sabby asked me this when I returned to the hotel "a lot of indians there?"

-.- India leh. You expect a lot of what there? Hahahahahhahaha.

Grilled chicken. Never tried it tho. Dowan to have burst of India in my mouth when I have aglio olio. Haha.

Cheesey garlic bread from pizza hut. Nice when it's piping hot!

Not sure if you can read the words. But it's a list of dos and donts in case of fire.
#11 Do not do anything that is wrong do only that which is right.
#15 If engulfed in heavy smoke, hit the desk, get as close to the floor as possible, take short quick breaths and crawl quickly to safety.
Can somebody tell me how does hitting a desk help when you're engulfed in heavy smoke? And where the fuck do you find a desk?!

After the mall, we went to this beach called marina beach to be touristy. The beach is hugeeeeee. And a lot of pple there. All the girls in the team :) only got three boys in our team.

A bit dark. Forgot to use the camera with the fake flash function. The breeze was nice.

My junior, me, my senior. For the entities we're in charge of.

This is a game stall where you use the gun to shoot and burst the balloons (the colourful things). Quite a few interesting things at the beach. Got pple cooking and selling food too. And cotton candy. Like carnival!

And horsies which I suppose you can ride on them if you pay. Horse looks very skinny :((

Soooooo many people on such a hugeeeeee beach. A lot of couples paktoring there, a lot of families and a lot of pple flying kites.

Another horsie. This one's smaller.

After the beach, we went to this 5 star hotel, Asiana hotel, for dinner. Went to the Thai restaurant which some Thai princess visited in 2008.

Entertainment for the night. Never really paid attention to them tho.

Food was quite expensive. About 450rps per main dish ie pad Thai or sth similar. Exchange rate is 32 so abt 10 plus sgd.

I had minced chicken with basil leaves and steam rice with egg. Esther had pad Thai.

This is my leftovers. Fail! I don't like the rice. It's the briyani rice. Grainy and skinny. I like the soft fluffy rice. Thai rice. Or Japanese rice. I miss eating rice at home. The rice my mummy cooks is very nice!

That pretty much sums up my day. Damn tired when I reached the hotel. Tmr gotta work alr. No rest at all! :(((

Alrights people, 1 week down. 2 more to go! Gonna sleep now. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
