Resorts World Sentosa

Okay photos overload post!

Outfit for the day. Going to meet my thai friend at sentosa for dinner and casino!

Casino got dress code pple! No shorts, slippers and singlets. Smart casual. MUST bring ic or driving license.

This is on every pillar in the carpark. The directions suck. Confusing and useless. If I'm in the carpark, it means I'm DRIVING, why do I need directions to the tram??

Parked at the green zone due to lack of information! Super far walk away from the escalator. I hate the carpark there. Pui. Think red zone is nearest, followed by blue zone.

Universal studios. I wanna go when the rides are all functional!

Directions. Super lousy and vague also. Even with these signs, I had to ask the staff around for directions. Twice.

Touristy shot 1.

Touristy shot 2.

Going to hotel Michael for dinner!

Touristy shot 3.

Touristy shot 4.

Dinner at chinois. Fine dining of cos. My Thai friend never fails to exceed my expectations.

Gem discovery. They have Victoria's secret!!! :)))))

There. Restaurant entrance.

Touristy shot 5.

Chinese fusion food.

Some salmon starter. Quite nice. I dunno what it's called. I was the last one to arrive at the restaurant.

Soup. Quite nice also.

With one whole piece of sharks fin inside. Actually got 2 big pieces.

Fine dining means the proportion of plate to food is 3:1.

Fishie. This one is nice! I like!

Lobster with chilli crab sauce. I couldn't eat this one cos I'm allergic to shellfish. Pity! But I had 1 plate anyway cos my fren ordered a six course meal so it's fixed I think. He ordered before I reached, if not I would have asked if the kitchen can change the dish.

Leaf wrapped thing.

It's rice! Tastes like claypot rice. Very fragrant and nice. Favourite dish of the night.

Got 1 baby abalone inside.

Dessert! Dunno what it is but I know got aloe vera inside. Okay nia la.

Restaurant decor.

Restaurant decor 2. Didn't see the menu so I dunno what the price range of the restaurant is.

Statues representing I dunno what.

On the way to casino! All the luxury brand boutiques.

Hello casino!

Touristy shot 6.

Escalator to casino.

On the way. So exciting!

Ta dah!

Super unimpressive. Doesn't strike me as classy.

Pui. Remove the levy!!!!!

License to kill.

Snuck a secret shot inside the casino. Crowded, filled with foreigners and dirty. Yeah the floor was super littered with empty mineral water bottles. Tsk.

The mineral water they gave out for free there.

Overall, I would say the experience was lousy. Unimpressive. Expected better for singapore's casino. Decor not classy. Kinda ching cheong to me. Not sure if it's due to the cny decor.

Very far away from Vegas standard. Not worth spending 100 bucks. But still worth it for a one time experience kinda thing I guess. I hope marina bay sands turns out better.

And of cos, results for the night. Cashed out 1k so minus 100 (my base) and 100 (levy), I guess I made 800 bucks. In erm... 2 hours? Good money eh? Haha. I played baccarat.

I played 100 per bet. I didn't really walk ard much cos it was crowded, but min bet for most baccarat tables was 100. Only saw a few min 50 bucks one. Not sure abt the other games tho. Should have lower stakes tables la.

There was a section only for sgreans and pr but I didn't go in. Yups. Don't think I'll be interested to go in on a regular basis. Just one more time when universal studios open I guess.

Conclusion: FAIL. 40/100. Haha.

K I'm falling alseep le. Nights people!!

xoxo
